Southeast Xlerator Network
West Virginia University is a member of the Southeast XLerator Network, an effort funded by the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) to grow the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Southeast IDeA state region.
The purpose is to bring together key leadership in entrepreneurship, licensing and intellectual property strategy and expertise with regional commercialization partnerships to unleash great ideas into the marketplace by connecting existing resources across the 6 Southeast IDeA states and Puerto Rico.
Ultimately, we hope to advance the commercialization of biomedical technologies in the Southeast IDeA state region and increase the number of SBIR/STTR submissions and awards.
